Götti The Classic Car Caretakers since 1927

We're getting steam back under the hood.

Many classic cars that come to our workshop with an acute engine problem bear legendary names: Cadillac, Ducati, Maserati, Rolls Royce, Studebaker, to name just a few. Our job is to make them fit again. A spare part that is no longer available? Our stock foundry will make a new one. Engine overhaul, camshaft replacement, rivet cracks, engine blow out, engine replacement? We do it. We do everything so that every classic car can get going again.

On The Road Again

The revision of classic car engines is a real challenge, which we gladly accept, because we are specialized in exactly that: For each classic car coming into our workshop, a specific, 100% suitable problem solution must be found. The following 3 examples represent one of the main focuses of our activity: revisions of engines of legendary classic cars. More information in the menu references.

When the first Testa Rosso rolled off the assembly line, Götti was 20 years young.

1927: The automotive industry in Europe and the USA really takes off. And in St. Gallen, Emil Götti opens Switzerland's first cylinder grinding plant. Today: Emil Götti's cylinder grinding plant has become Classic Car Caretakers. A company that has something in common with its customers: A love for legendary automotive masterpieces from the ingenious designers and builders of old. And they can rely on us to be exactly the right address for overhauling the engines of these masterpieces with our professional expertise and operational infrastructure.

"There is always space for improvement"

What Lewis Hamilton says is exactly right: There's always something to improve. To fix. To optimize. And not just with the big Formula 1 cars. Proud owners of fast sports and racing cars are also increasingly demanding "improvements" to their favorites. That's why we have expanded our range with a new service: tuning! The prerequisites for ensuring that everything runs smoothly are in place: state-of-the-art technology plus our motivated team, which is looking forward to the new challenge.
