Many classic cars that come into our shop with a serious engine problem bear legendary names: Cadillac, Ducati, Maserati, Rolls-Royce, Studebaker—to name just a few. Our job is to get them back in shape. A spare part that’s no longer available? Our in-house foundry will cast a new one. Overhaul the engine, replace the camshaft, rivet cracks, bore out the engine, or replace the entire powertrain? We’ll take care of it. We do everything we can to ensure that every classic car can hit the road again in top form.

1927: The automotive industry in Europe and the U.S. really takes off. And in St. Gallen, Emil Götti opens Switzerland’s first cylinder-honing shop. Today: Emil Götti’s cylinder-honing shop has evolved into Classic Car Caretakers. A company that shares something in common with its customers: a love for legendary automotive masterpieces created by the brilliant designers and engineers of yesteryear. And you can count on us—with our technical expertise and operational infrastructure—to be exactly the right place for the overhaul of the engines in these masterpieces.
