An overhaul is not a repair based on suspicion. We dismantle the engine completely, measure every critical part and put in writing what will be machined, replaced or fabricated. Only then does the work begin.

Process
The overhaul step by step
Dismantling & inspection
Removal or acceptance, complete disassembly, visual inspection of all assemblies. Duration: a few days.
Measuring & documentation
All dimensions recorded and documented: bore, shaft, bearing clearances, valve train. You receive the assessment before anything costs money.
Machining
Honing, boring, surfacing, valve seats and guides — what needs to be done, and only that.
Sourcing or making parts
What is available is sourced. What is not available, we make — right down to the cast bearing from our own foundry.
Assembly & acceptance
Assembly with documented torques and clearances, running in, test-bench run where possible, handover with documentation.

What matters is the condition and the parts situation. An engine with good stock parts can be done in six weeks; an engine that needs bearings cast or parts fabricated takes longer. We tell you beforehand, not during.
